NEW 2026- SATURDAY MORNING KIDS CLASSES – 5-8 yr olds – 11 WEEKS

This Special program for younger kids on Saturday mornings from January to April is part of our Instructor training program. The 11 week Saturday program will run from January 24th through April 11th. After that students, who are ready, will be offered the possibility of joining the weekday school year option for kids 6 and older for the Spring session. Students who are 5 yrs of age, will have the opportunity to join the weekday school year option in the fall. There will be no class on Saturday 2/14, President’s weekend and beginning of school vacation week. The tuition for the 11 week program is $375 (if your child is a sibling of an existing student at DSMA use SIBLING as a discount code and save $40.).

Younger kids 10:45-11:20 (approximately 5.5 and 6 year olds – Kindergarten/first grade).

Older kids 10:40-11:25 (approximately 7 and 8 year olds)

This makes for a wonderful first experience at our school as the instructor to student ratio is sometimes 1:1 in some of the classes and students get a ton of extra support and attention as they start our program. We typically invite all of the younger kids on our waitlist to join this program if they would like. Please add your child to our wait list here.

WEEKDAY KIDS CLASSES – AGES 6-16 YRS OLD
At Davis Square Martial Arts, our Kids Kung Fu classes emphasize paying attention, doing your best, treating everyone with respect, and having fun!

We work hard to create a positive learning environment where students can safely practice martial arts. Classes are available for children ages 6 to 16 years old (The Saturday morning Jan-April program is available to 5-7 yr olds.) Every child is different, but all students are encouraged to do the best they can to reach their own individual potential. Through listening and putting effort into every class, children with develop physically and mentally. The physical and mental discipline children develop in class will serve them throughout their lives.

How to set up a 1st FREE Class

Please contact us to set up a first free introductory lesson for your child. We try to schedule these lessons 1 on 1 or in a small group of 2-3 kids. This will allow your child a chance to meet their instructors, feel comfortable in the space, and start learning some basic moves before joining the entire class. This allows both student and parent to experience our program prior to making a decision. Also, the small group introduction enables our instructors to make a personal connection with the student and to gain insight into their learning style before they join the main class, as well as touch base with their parents to gain additional insight and information pertaining to the child and the parent’s goals for the child as they progress in our program.

Weekday Classes for Kids 6 to 16 years old

Our kids classes meet Monday to Friday between 3:20pm and 6:20pm. Please contact us to find out which class times are available for your child. We are currently serving over 200 students ages 5 to 17, beginners to Black Belts. Each group is structured with a narrow range of ages and belt levels. Our goal is to set up every student for success and we believe this careful structuring provides the best experience for our students. Tuition

For 1x/week kids classes, the tuition is:
Trimester Option: $485
Full Year Option: $1350
Sibling Discount: $415/$1150*

For 2x/week kids classes, the tuition is:
Trimester Option: $760
Full Year Option: $2150
Sibling Discount: $645/$1825*

EXTENDED Classes for Red, Brown and Black belts add $450/yr or $150/trimester

* Notes: Discounted sibling tuition applies to the lower tuition amount and to additional children only.
